That's my concern. The article seems to hint and Elbert himself states that issue was he lost too much weight and that made him a finesse player.

I don't think that was it at all. To me it was just the opposite. Even with all the lost lbs his movement was labored. There are players his size who move well enough, he looked to have a long way to go and I just don't know if he can get there even with training, and other methods of improving agility and flexibility.

Q at least you saw the athleticism was there. A lot to ask for Elbert.

If he could board and help start fast breaks and give some rim protection that would help us, but the need for better footwork and movement would still be required for the positioning to provide that would still be required.

I'll be interested and hopeful to see if he has been able to make some strides in that regard.
