Wiggins and the MIN guards took over the 4th. Had nothing to do with Whiteside.

everyone else on the heat played like shite besides Deng

I did watch the game, and it had *everything* to do with Whiteside.

He was simply brutal from the FT line-- 2 of 9, and 1 of 5 in the 4th quarter. They pulled him a couple of times, for both rests and to keep him from having to shoot FT. When he was out, Minnesota got to the rim much better, and outrebounded the Heat-- which gave their offense much of the success that Whiteside helped deny them through 3 quarters.

Oh-- and during the last stretch he sat 3:30 to 2:04, the Heat secured one rebound and allowed 3 shots within 5 feet of the hoop. Towns hit the offensive glass, and Minnesota shut out the Heat.

So, yeah, that loss is mostly on Hassan Whiteside. They wouldn't have been in position to win without him, but they couldn't play him when it came down to crunch time.

Being the best means not being a liability in that situation.

the heat lead could have been 15-20 going into the 4th and Minn would have never been in the game if Bosh and Wade came to play. They were bad.

Minn went on a 10-0 run to start the Quarter where miami didnt score for like 3min.

Who the frick cares? A great FT shooting center will score an extra 5 points over his performance from the line. And score 4 points less from the field. And block 8 less shots.

So the loss is on Whiteside? Yet, in the same paragraph you say this:

A player's performance in the last few minutes is the sole determining factor in regards to his contribution?

And here I thought games were 48 minutes long.
