I believe thst anytime taxes are being used there should be some kind of study as to how they are best used.

If spending taxes on a light rail better served the community than spending it on widening I10 than fine, go with the light rail; however, I doubt that is the case.

Witness what is happening with CATS. More and money is being shelled out yet ftom what I've read ridership isn't redponding in kind. I suspect a light rail would suffer the same fate, and i would hate to see it tried and then fail just because a few thought if was a good idea.
