He's got Seth Meyers to deal with, and that's it. I feel pretty confident that Norm could beat him. Seth Meyers isn't all that respected even by the public at large, while Norm is one of the most respected comedians in the business. I don't think many people said to themselves once Meyers got that gig "Now I have to tune into it!" People would certainly get that from Norm.

Hell, Kimmel got his job due to his appearances on Letterman, and I think Norm clearly has him beat in that regard.

And do you think he's a worse bet than a Gotham City Commissioner?

Kimmel got his job from The Man Show. Seth Myers was already well known from SNL. Norm hasn't been on a popular show or movie in a long time. Hardcore comedy fans may love him, but I don't think he's that popular among the general public which is all that matters.
