Because when I was about 5 years old, my daddy sat me down and had the talk with me. If l was going to live in his house there were rules to be followed. Number one was to go to church. Two was follow the golden rule. Three was never under any circumstances pull for the Dallas Cowboys or Alabama Crimson tide. In fact they were the only thing you could hate.

And the common denominator between the Cowboys and the Crimson Tide is the sidewalk fan. Mouth breathing, no affiliation, has very little passion for the sport of football much less know anything about other teams. Lucky if they know anything about their team. The only reason they choose to pull for them is because they are the McDonalds of the football world. A very safe and easy team to pull for out of thin air.
