Yeah you right, I forgot about that.

Still the point stands, I fricking loved the originals and I still consider the prequels as a net positive for the Star Wars mythology as the movies may not be well done and have very poor execution but we still got a rough idea out of it on what Lucas envisioned happened to the old order that the Sith took over and what the height of a free republic would look like throughout the Galaxy.

You're argument amounts to "I wanted pizza, and got a really crappy pizza, but it's still pizza." The classic pizza defense.

What's the point of getting a rough idea when the whole point of the prequels was to give us an actual idea? Why did I have to sit through 9 hours of movies to get a glimpse of how all those institutions of the Old Republic worked? How is that at all a net positive?
