Baseball tickets

Looking for some guidance on how to get baseball season tickets. When do they go on sale how hard are they to come by and so on. I have never purchased season tickets for any sport so I am a bit uninformed on how the process works.

There is a waiting list @ LSUtix.NET. The deadline for getting on this year's list is October 31, 2015.

At the Old Box, I was on the waiting list for 3 years before I got the call. I then had tickets for 2 years before the new Box opened.

I've tried for the past 2 or 3 years and haven't made the cut, good luck
