You have never ignored a co-workers email? Why would someone do this? Maybe they are doing something that takes priority over what the email is in relation to. Maybe its something that has been discussed several times and you are not going to waste your time telling that person the same shite. Maybe its something that is better discussed in person and while it would be nice if that person would let you know, they got tied up doing something else & forgot.
So you expect people to respond to every email you send? Whatever you email them is much more important than anything else?

Usually. Or it will be at some point in the near future.

I am not in sales, and I am not suggesting customers or potential customers should respond to every e-mail the OP sends.

I haven't. I've had some of mine ignored, though.
Some people want to avoid taking responsibility and initiative. Others are pissed off at me for doing my job and allow that to affect their professionalism.
