Not a Bammer... and I get the feeling that I'm probably much older than most who've posted.
I think maybe Joe Mcnight saga flew over many heads. For me, it's a recent memory.
I remember when you had to actually go to Death Valley to see the Tiger's play. The first LSU game I saw on TV was the heartbreaker in Orange Bowl against Nebraska. I remember the '83 season hype and the letdown.
I'm a life long LSU fan. I only applied to one school, LSU. Why? LSU sports.
I really hope the replies are just guys messing around. I hate to think this is the "participation trophy/entitlement" generation of tiger fans.
If these are the "participation trophy" fans, f#€k me. Until recently, LSU seldom had powerhouse teams. It's good to win; it's better to bleed purple and gold.
