Replace the filter housing assembly and don't look back it has a new filter and wif sensor already on it, get the universal assembly with the adjustable fuel fittings and replace the lines also I have replaced a truck load of these over the years.
Wix makes a good filter but they are too small and don't last as long (they plug up faster) than the a/c delco filter.

Rebuild the fuel filter housing assembly and then install an adapter for the Cat 2 micron filters and your problem is solved. Get rid of that crap WIF sensor! I've got an '04 and have been running mine like this for a long time. The 2 micron filter will help your injectors to last longer as well!
