Looks like a good value on a decent gun.

Any experiences with one?

I would tell you to pony up and get an SR1911.

Good shooter 1911's. Armscor has been making 1911's for decades and they know what they are doing.

My neighbor bought one, then handed it to me with 300 rounds of ammo. He asked me to bring it to the range and break it in next time I went. 300 rounds and not a single hiccup right out the box! I didn't even take the slide off and oil it before shooting.

I'd say it's a solid firearm.

I have the cheap GI version with wood grips. 100% reliable.

One of my friends won one recently at an NRA banquet. I think its the cheaper version. It shoots pretty sweet, but is definitely no frills.

I'd buy one.
