Nobody should ever open the door to a stranger you aren't expecting...no matter the time.of day or how nice your neighborhood is.
I will look out the window and shake my head for them to leave with the pistol in my hand. Had a girl scout troop leader get pissed about that but safety comes first.

If you refused to open the door for Girl Scouts and displayed a firearm to get them to leave, you need to grow some testicles. Just open the door and politely tell them that you're diabetic... Because you don't have the balls to tell a Girl Scout "No, thank you. I'm cheap!"
Move to your bunker in the woods, ASAP. Danger lurks behind every corner in suburbia!
