Well, what's your cable bill a month? Now, deduct that completely. Add the subscriptions you might want like Netflix, Hulu, HBO...see how you come out monthly that way. If you know someone who has these subs and doesn't mine sharing, that's even better.
The only upfront one time costs would be getting a device to stream on (Apple TV--$100; FireTV stick--$40; etc.) and an indoor HD antenna.
I'm saving $125/month. My bill was $140.
