I'm not sure why they even have this deal where teams can submit plays they want reviewed by office. Nothing ever comes of it. They never admit they were wrong or try to implement something to prevent it going forward. I get human error, it happens in a fast paced game but there is no accountability at the league office.

Actually not true- in 2012 I forwarded a clip of a SC player punching an LSU player while he was on the ground and unable to defend himself- SEC contacted SC and the player was suspended for first half of the next game

I'm sure it helps in making the refs more aware in future games.

If there are penalties for alumni getting jobs and money to players there should be fines for gross officiating gaffes- including suspensions and having to write with chalk on a board 1,000 times," I will open my blind eyes and not bet on SEC football games"
