Ask your Dr. for Toradol. It is an anti inflammatory that will give you 100% relief in about a half an hr.
if you are not a big coke/beer drinker etc etc, you probably got the stone due to dehydration.

Absolutely get Toradol (Keterolac). It actually worked better than morphine when I had my kidney stones. I was getting morphine shots every few hours and they were not giving me enough relief. I got the Toradol shot and got almost immediate relief.
If you are at the Drs, then ask for a shot of Toradol and then followup with the Toradol pills. The shot kicks in immediate relief and the pills maintain it. (You can still take the opiate pain killers also if need for extra help to stay ahead of the pain).
I was in horrific pain because my 1st kidney stone was the size of a hotwheels car. They had to cut it out of my kidney thru my back.

This didn't work for me. Neither did morphine. Now this stuff called dilaudid was awesome.
