Good question.

He was great at UT, but the later flakiness might affect how pundits remember.

Kinda going off the Trojan War thread, but I think Reggie Bush doesn't get enough credit these days for just how great he was in college. Obviously, the scandal and probation taint his image pretty badly.

He's still the only college player I've ever seen live and stood up in my seat every single time he touched the ball. He could do things that I didn't think were possible; electric doesn't begin to describe what it was like to watch him in person. He was a different kind of RB, obviously.

Weird to think that he's still only 30 and still playing. Seems like his SC days were forever ago.

When he played, though, he was dominant even in the NFL. It's a shame he threw away his prime.
