I would take a wheelchair and push him around. I also think you will find that he will have an energy about him in that environment that he hasn't had in a while. It may end up being pretty emotional for him also so you need to be prepared for that.

How did you dad like it when y'all went?

Question, do you know many men that age? Let alone WW2 vets? Im only 30, and my grandpa would flip his shite. Couple the loss of dignity(how they view it, not myself) with combat memories?

Ive never been to the place, but I recommend you not tell that man to sit in a chair while you move him around.
