WHAT was reported several times? That the lawsuit cap Abbott fought for was for punitive damages, and that he didn't get a penny of punitive damages in his settlement, so all this shite is immaterial?

No shite he didnt get punitive damages. That's b/c it never went to trial. My arse he wouldn't have gone for them had there not been a settlement. The facts are that he has worked to make it harder for injured parties to gain compensation to the point that it would be nearly impossible to get the same kind of deal that he got back in the 80s. His own lawyer from the case admits as much. LINK Dude is a massive hypocrite. Period.

He's done more than just that and the case never went to trial so to say that he didn't seek punitive damages means little.
