Griffons are way, way more relaxed than the typical pointing breeds in general. I do agree that it depends on breeder/line, though. I mean, a lab bred and trained for field trials acts quite a bit different than my lazy fatass lab who is from good lines but could lay around all day until we get near a body of water.

AS to a griffon in a blind: same thing. They're nothing like other pointing breeds (especially not GSPs) as far as that goes. They like to chill out next to their owner from what I've seen. Like I said earlier, they're used a lot in really rugged terrain for upland game because they like to work close to their owner instead of ranging far afield.
