This isn't a price issue at all.

Yes. It is. You know how they get butts in the seats for crappy rent-a-wins? The tickets are cheap and families can go for under $300.

short notice + relatively high prices + mediocre opponent + balls arse hot weather = little motivation for anyone outside of diehards to go.

Not many are breaking plans for regular priced $75 dollar tickets. You drop it to $30, you may get some more takers.

Unless there are more than seven people in your family, you can go to this game for under $300. The West Upper deck bench seats are $40 each and there are plenty still available.

Mediocre opponent? That means you ought to see the Tigers win and Leonard Fournette get his fourth 200 yard game in a row.

Balls arse hot weather? The forecast for Saturday is a high of 85, low of 57, with 10-15 mph wind out of the North. That isn't that hot.

Added bonus: It'll be a lighter than usual crowd, so post game traffic shouldn't be as bad. Maybe you won't feel it's necessary to leave at halftime.

Honest to God, some of you people are just looking for something - ANYTHING - to bitch about. It must be a miserable way to go through life.

All you ever hear from people who do not ever go to the games is they can never get good seats. Now there are seats all over the bowl and people are still making excuses. I wish there was a black out on the game so these fly by night fans can not watch the game.
