the numbers show that this is an extremely effective offense. LSU currently ranks No. 12 IN THE NATION in yards per play. That's not yards per carry, but yards per play. Here is the list:

It's pretty much because of yards per carry, don't try to sweeten it dude. Usually your passing game is the one that lifts up your yards per play, well, ours lowers it. We average 7.13 ypc (mostly all Fournette), which is 2nd in the country. We average 6.3 ypa, which is 99th in the country.

We're No. 34 in the nation in the most important offensive stat, scoring offense, just behind No. 33 Alabama by 0.2 points per game.

We are like that only because of Fournette. Harris has 5 total TDs in 4 games, and no other rusher has any scores besides Fournette. Fournette is our offense, just say that and don't try to make us something we aren't.

Just a reminder, a team considered one of the greatest in the history of college football, 1995 Nebraska, averaged 13.5 passing attempts per game that entire season. They averaged 366 yards rushing per game, for a 7.0 YPC clip. We are currently averaging 336 yards rushing per game, at a 7.2 YPC clip. And we are averaging 15.5 passing attempts per game.

That was 1995, it's 2015 buddy. It's like people also forget the part where these teams they bring up actually had good scoring defenses. They gave up 14.5 ppg, we give up 21.5 ppg. We have yet to play an Ole Miss, Bama, TAMU, a team that is at least in our realm of talent, and that can actually score.

Look, until we start completing/catching passes, we are a 1 player offense (plus blockers), that give up nearly 22 points per game. And we aren't facing teams from the 80s or 90s.

Oh and FYI, Tommy Frazier averaged 8.4 ypa, we average 6.3. Frazier had 17 passing TDs to 4 ints in 11 games. We have 2 passing TDs, on pace for 5.5 passing TDs. We are on pace for 1050 pass yards in 11 games, he had 1362 in 11 games.

That passing game was way better than what we have now, and we only played the worst defenses of our schedule.

That Nebraska team wasn't just a one man show on offense. Four players finished with at least 400 rushing yards, and 8 finished with at least 245 rushing yards. They all averaged insane yards per carry and at least 3 had 9 or more TDs and 6 had 3 or more TDs. They got damn averaged 53 points per game and give up only 14 points per game, which was against all 11 opponents. We average 36 points per game and give up 21 points per game against our weakest competion. We have yet to play Bama, Florida, Ole Miss or even TAMU, who has a better defense than any team we have played.

ETA: when you add in their other passing outside of Frazier, they put up 1762 passing yards and 18 passing TDs in 11 games. That's 156 passing yards per game, which is 61 more yards that we pass per game. They averaged 20.7 passes per game, we average 15.25.

We aren't even close to anything that team was doing. This is as bad as the comparing of what Herschel and Bo did to aid their teams in 80 and 83 that somebody did a few days ago.
