I remember making a lot of fun of Joke Campbell Stadium when I went to grad school at FSU 97-2000. They got up for 2, maybe 3 games a year, and didn't give a crap about anyone else. It wasn't loud. People left early in droves. They were spoiled rotten.
EVERY ONE of these points could be made about Tiger Stadium today. Feel free to try and argue, but our fanbase is every bit as spoiled and entitled now as FSU's was then. And they were insufferable. Still, this is more human nature than anything else. People naturally get spoiled when they get used to success.
If there was any way my wife and I could get there this weekend, we would, but it's very difficult to swing a 12 hour + round trip drive on this short a notice.
