Maybe you guys will realize what others have been saying for several years now. The Tiger Stadium crowd ain't what it used to be. Many season ticket holders keep renewing, but they only make 1 or 2 games a year. Every week there is someone different sitting in those seats. Corporate seats, give them away to neighbors, etc. All the Facebook selfies that are posted on Saturday and Sundays aren't the people bringing the noise to Death Valley. Let me show up 15 minutes after kickoff, take a few photos, then leave at halftime.

The diehards in the South endzone show up every week, and most of them stay. But the people between the 20's on both sides of the stadium just don't care to be at the games more than once or twice a season.

This is based on nothing other than your own, subjective and likely skewed perspective. The Tiger Stadium crowd is no different now than it has ever been. The school continues to set attendance records each year. The demand for tickets is higher than it ever has been. Look at the re-sale value of tickets on the secondary market. The crowds will always stay for the close games, and bail on the blow-outs. Always have, and always will. And I have no problem with a season ticket holder giving or selling their tickets to someone else when they can't go. Sometimes life makes it impossible to attend 7 games a season. It's better than leaving an empty seat in the stadium.
