The drops or the bickering didn't begin until he started coaching them. You didn't here any public quotes like that during henry's era but I don't know what's going but I hope we get these things settled this is negative for team chemistry and recruiting

dupre mad he would like to have more opportunities so his drops are not so magnified

Tony Ball is a different coach than Adam Henry. Ball is more vocal and in your face. The players just need to adjust and catch the damn ball.

UGA receivers are known for a lot of drops, not sure this was the best hire.

Blaming a coach for drops....I have heard it all...have any of you played any sort of organized sports in your life?

Real men take the blame and don't point fingers.

Is that different than unorganized sports?

Have you not watched any of OBJ's and Landry's year under Henry?

Exactly what I was going to say!!! Early in both of their careers at LSU, these guys couldn't catch a cold!!!
Oh, how quickly the Rant forgets!!!

Hard to get in a rhythm when you are working on the passing game by calling only 20 passing plays when you are trying to get reps at it and that would rank 119th out of 128 teams if LSU average that # per game.
I don't blame Dupre and the other WRs for being frustrated. I would be too. In the end, Les has preached about opening up the passing game, and yet despite LSU's weak schedule, he's refused to do just that.
LSU has had at least a two touchdown lead in every single game in the second half, yet didn't take advantage of it to work on the passing game effectively. Some if it was because of defensive breakdowns, others were poor OL play, but it is clearly sad when you are blowing people out still can't take advantage and work on the passing game.

A.J Green, Chris Conley, Tavarres King, Chris Duhram, Mohammed Massaquoi all made it to the league under him. Also current Georgia wideout Malcolm Mitchell who was predicted as a top 3 round pick until he injured his acl. Adam Henry obviously did tremendous things for our wideouts and might be the best wideout coach out there, but if these guys put in work after practice they wouldn't be dropping the ball. You can't blame a coach for having bad hands. Their blocking has been great and route running. They just haven't been catching the ball. Beckham and Landry talked about how after practice they would be on the field till night perfecting everything.

Or for lack of focus or for lack of execution or for not utilizing your God-granted athleticism to max potential. Lynn Swann made it to the HOF playing for offenses in college and the NFL which ran the ball 70 % of the time.

You do realize the it was the WR's that shut the passing game down Saturday against EMU don't you? Les was slinging it until they couldn't catch the ball.

Adam Henry was the type of coach that's your friend and your buddy, Tony Ball is hard and stresses fundamentals. Our WR's are proving to be massive wusses right now. Dural has basically quit and Malachi is known to abhor contact and avoid it at all costs. That's not going to mix well with Ball's personality and the way he coaches. It's why DJ Chark isn't playing right now. He thought he could talk back and Ball is teaching him that shite doesn't fly.

It was the WR's for sure that shut down the passing game on Sat. If they catch the ball and we get a lead, then it probably keeps going. With Eastern Michigan gaining ground, it was time for Leonard left, Leonard right and Leonard up the middle.
