LSU's offensive woes....are largely a figment of imaginations, in my opinion.

The drops are real and need to be fixed.
But why would Les want to open it up too much before he needs to? I submit that it makes a bit of sense to keep the offense's abilities somewhat under wraps until needed to provide less time for other teams to prepare for them.

For EMU, it looked like we were determined to work on the passing game and had early success; however, when the drops started happening and EMU pulled to 20-14, Les decided to hammer away because our WR weren't ready to play.

The 1st qtr at Moo state was a glimpse of what this team is capable of, sometimes I think CLM is playing "rope a dope" with the rest of the conference,but Damn it's frustrating at times!

because if you don't work on the entire offense ahead of time, it can be hard to "flip the switch" and immediately be effective, especially against the better teams.
And the "keeping our offense under wraps" is just nonsense. There's no secret playbook.

You think 5 weeks into the football season and 2 games into the SEC season LSU is trying to keep their passing ability "under wraps???
Look, I am bout as a "P/G glasses" as it gets, but I cant even buy into that thought process.
Who knows when or if the light bulb turns on for the passing game and I recall the 2012 team having a terrible month of Oct. passing only to have a vast improve in Nov., but I don't think this team is holding back on anything. We are struggling throwing the ball to this point cause we are not a very good passing team for whatever the reason. imo

When the only teams you are ahead of in passing are the 3 Military schools along with Georgia Southern you should take a hard look at your offense. 5th from the bottom is not an imagination.

I don't care what Les says about being balanced. Until someone actually stops Buga then we will never throw the ball. Don't be surprised if noone ever stops him and as long as he is part of the offense then there are no offensive woes. Only team with the talent in there front 7 to stop him is Bama and that will be the game we finally throw the ball with sucess because their secondary is weak. It does feel good to watch every team put everybody in the box to stop him and fail miserably.

15 drops in 4 games is absurd and as you stated, need to be corrected, sooner than later. Add 15 completions and approximately 300 yards and 4 Touchdowns to the Tigers numbers and they'd be looked at as a complete offense with the stupid good running game and good placekicker. Just catch the damn ball and this offense will be very hard to stop.
