LSU and Michigan have never played. In 2006 we were 99% of the way to meeting in the Rose Bowl and then USC choked against UCLA and shuffled the BCS bowls. I would have been in Pasedena for that game! Had already started making the plans.

The only reason I made the 2006 Sugar Bowl was because of this scenario. We had already bough our flights to LA, non refundable. There was a snowstorm in Denver that week that cancelled our trip. We weren't even going to make it. My dad was refunded his money, we drove to New Orleans, and proceeded to watch LSU destroy Notre Dame as a 16 year old LSUShock fought off puking all the Hurricanes I drank pregame.
