I think you can agrue who had a better year. Both were amazing. Greinke wins by traditional measures (ERA), Kershaw wins by fielding independent measures. Neither method is perfect and tells the whole story. Either way, there is little doubt in my mind that Kershaw is still the better and more talented pitcher going forward.

A pitchers job is to keep his team in the game, the fact that Greinke only allowed 3 or more runs in 6 total starts this year shows he did that. This year he was the better pitcher
