My guess is he was doping and quitting was his best option rather than failing drug tests. How clean is golf?

He wasn't doping with steroids if that's what you mean. His social life is pretty common knowledge. Party until the early hours of the morning and then show up to the first tee with no sleep the next day. Injured himself, got a little cozy with the pain meds, never healed, and here we are.

In the meantime his game has left him. He's in a weird place where he is covered by his insurance policy until the minute he tees it up professionally again. Problem is his game is not good enough to earn him any money.

ETA: here's the article I read about him last year LINK

He addressed that in the interview... said he has never had a positive test. I guess he could be lying

They do a lot of party drugs, alcohol, etc. and the penalties are private and weak. DJ failed 3 tests for blow and they still don't publicly say what his suspension was for. The first penalty is a warning for coke for example. I mean, frick, its just golf. Who cares if they party?

I don't know many that roid. I could see Tiger doing HGH to recover from all his injuries and surgeries though (or anyone for that matter, the shite helps recovery BIG TIME).

I have heard from several folks that Tiger was alllll about those pain killers during his legendary runs. He has always been a boozer, but I heard he took the lortabs like skittles back in 2000.

Anthony Kim is just a big time, unapologetic party animal. He doesn't make effort to hide it either. He let his body go and strained in tournaments and that led to injuries. I doubt he'll ever be back on the professional tour. He owns a couple businesses apparently that do ok and he has that insurance policy helping.
