Completely agree. I also don't like having a WC time burn up arms before the NLDS.
Which is why, strangely, I find myself in favor of the one game playoff.
Also helps going to battle with Arietta in that situation
ETA- But I also think Divisions in all sports are just products of the past, and should be removed. Division strength fluctuates so much year to year. Would prefer a balanced schedule and seeding teams based on overall record
