I agree, But the only way out of that is to get rid of divisions........... I feel for both the Cubs and Pirates fans..........

2 out of 3 would be a bit more fair, considering the length of the season. e.g., this year, until last night, the Pirates were still battling the Cardinals for the division. Meanwhile the Cubs were pretty much locked in with the opportunity to set up their rotation for Arietta to be on full rest for the one game playoff. When things like that happen, it's not fair to whoever ends up WC1.
