I fry 4 or so times a year. Usually shrimp or when okra is coming in.
I got a DeLonghi for $100+ that was highly rated, but it crapped out after a few uses.
Went to Target and got a knockoff for $60. Has worked like a champ.
Those size units are only good to cook for 2 or so people.
Had a Fry Daddy many moons ago. It worked well too for small amounts.
