found this on his Wiki:

Brown is the first coach in NCAA football history to lose 200 games

Not really Watson is a really good coach. Never been at a good school though.

One of the worst of all time. Vandy lost to SMU something like 42 -14 the year after SMU came back from the death penalty

One of the worst of all time. Kept getting jobs and kept sucking at them. Only has two winning seasons of his entire career iirc

I didn't realize until I checked his Wikipedia page that he's the first college football coach with 200 losses.
I also saw that he has a 1 win season at three different schools, something that has to be a record.
Also, in over 30 years of being a head coach, he's only been to 1 (!) bowl game and made only 1 appearance in the FCS playoffs. Two postseason appearances in 31 years is unbelievable.

quote:His brother wasn't so hot either. Sure he got a Natty (thanks to Vince Young), but he also got butt-fricked by Bob Stoops regularly. In twenty-nine years as a head coach Mack Brown won exactly two conference championships.
Watson Brown is a pretty miserable coach, actually.
