Seems that way but it's not a destination area, if that makes any sense. There isn't much there like in Towne Center, even though it is relatively close. Unless you live right there, why drive there for some random average food?

I don't know what I said to make you say "Seems that way..." But I know what you mean by "destination area." It's not, so you are correct, any ol' average restaurant won't make it there.

To make it there, and other less desirable locations, you have to create a concept that's specific for the location. In other words, a concept that's created for the people that live, work and play in that market area. And that ain't easy to do, unless you're me . Restaurants located there in the past were already existing concepts that were forced on that location. Round pegs trying to fit into a square hole. I'm just saying create a square peg. Those that don't know how to create a concept that's specific to a location, and that's pretty much most people in the restaurant bidness, have to rely on hope, like Pat's did, or on more expensive "destination areas" with mass appeal, which only big chain restaurants can afford.
