It's a challenge and perhaps people are too lazy, selfish, ego-centric ("I couldn't possibly be contributing to this problem, I pay taxes!"), ignorant to see it as such. It would be a very laborious and selfless effort to care more but ultimately, I think it would do more good.

I would rather Mitch help clean up the inner city first and help get it going on the right path before panicking and succumbing to some rich folks getting robbed. That doesn't address the root and only worsens the problem in the long run
