He probably has to learn how to greet customers, how to properly scoop and serve the ice cream, any cleaning and maintenance duties while on shift, closing duties when the shop closes, how to operate the cash register, process coupons, do discounts, stocking and resupply

Was my first job as a teenager. We watched a ton of cheesy corporate training videos and then practiced scooping ice cream so as to make it efficient and have it the right weight.

15 minutes- how to use the cash register

30 minutes- basic math, how to add and subtract in your head if the cash register readout goes out

1 hour- advanced math, how to calculate change if the customer does some far out shite like give you bills and change to get an even amount back

45 minutes- basic etiquette, the schedule is not a suggestion

1 hour- advanced etiquette, sticking your dick in the ice cream is bad, not funny
