we are blessed to be able to manhandle opposing teams and rush so effectively.

all i ask is that when they do load up and we are so predictable it is causing 3 and outs that we would open it up and get more creative.. via mixing it up such as passing.. like one 1st or 2nd down.. and medium yardage passing..

that's all. i don't care about stats in terms of how many passes attempted or yardage thrown for.. what i care about is seeing our offense flourish and we continue producing touchdowns like i know LSU is capable of every time they touch the ball.. so much talent on O. no reason not to have confidence in our talent and abilities.

LSU had three 3&outs Saturday.

The first 3&out was in the first quarter. First and third downs were pass plays. One sack, one incompletion.

The second 3&out was in the second quarter. LSU gained 12 total yards rushing on first & second down but was penalized on both plays, too; third and long resulted in a sack.

The third and final 3&out began late in the third and ended early in the fourth. LSU began the drive with a 1st&15 because of a penalty. Ten rushing yards total on the first two plays, and then an incomplete pass.

Neither of these drives stalled because of predictability. The first 3&out featured a first down pass play. The second and third 3&outs featured LSU gaining more than 10 yards on offense but having to punt because they couldn't make up for penalty yards.

Narrative.

Every team LSU has played has more 3 and outs. People tend to exaggerate everything on this board. No one noticed we threw it on first down 3 times in a row, and we were doing on plays that there was a high % chance of a run, backed up in our side of the field, and in the red zone.
