All of those idiots whining about passing yards are Madden jockeys or kids that believe it's "cooler" to sling the ball all over the place because running the ball is boring and old fashioned. None of them know how to win a game and would bitch if LSU won every game but didn't win the way they think is cool

The longer I've been on this board the more I've realized just how many people here have never played a single down of football. It is so hard to win games at any level, but for Les Miles to have been this successful in the SEC and the national stage with people still complaining is mind boggling to me.

again. who is asking for LSU to "sling it all over the place"?
i'd imagine the vast majority of posters saying we need to develop a passing game would be happy with a solid 150-200 yards per game (in an efficient manner, obviously). 175/game puts us under 2500 passing over 14 games, which would also have LSU tied for 107th in the nation (based on 2014 passing ypg rankings)
in the BCS era, do you know how many teams won a title without throwing for 2500 yards in a season?
