I was wrapping up a project and I knew the replacement would need to know the ins and outs in case there was an issue.
I gave 4 weeks notice....but the company treated me well and they knew my wife was possibly going to be transferred. I wouldn't give that much notice if I even suspected that they wouldn't take it well.
