It's a valid point to say that fans take their own team's inadequacies and magnify them.
It's also a valid point for fans to complain about things that have gone unfixed for half a decade or more and appear to be a reflection of one person who's been in charge all that time and who appears to either be unable or unwilling to change his methods in order to get a better result, which is the mark of a great leader.
And before you blame it on other coaches and players, these same problems have existed throughout 4 different OC's and DC's, and literally hundreds of players who have gone through the system. Pointing that out doesn't make us bad fans just like you supporting the product on the field blindly (while saying I can't do a better job as your go to comeback) doesn't make you a bad fan. We just have different perspectives and I think we will be arguing till Kingdom Come on this. LOL.
Fwiw I watched a lot of games yesterday and you are correct - there were some bad ones by supposedly good teams, but I think those coaches don't have the same resume and body of work that ours has - his history is littered with games like this, it's a pattern, not a "one off" to just dismiss out of hand.
All that said, the Potential of this team this year and next is off the charts, there seems to be only one roadblock, and that is at the top.
In the end I think we are all fans and want what's best for the team, we just have different viewpoints.

You know what else has gone on at LSU for that period you reference??? WINNING and winning at a rate never seen before at LSU and at a rate that makes LSU #2 nationally in power 5 schools.
What more important "result" is there in sports???

his history is littered with games like
Yeah...OOC regular season WINS away from TS vs. Power 5 programs.
Miles is not perfect, but he's damn good as showed by our winning and winning at a time when the SEC has owned college football.
Each to our own, but bitching continually bout Miles is like bitching bout your g/f cause she only came in 5th in the Miss USA contest. imo

you have admitted from day to be you don't like Les. In 2003 and 2007 we were the most penalized team in the sec. 2 diff coaches, same result.
Last year, Miss state. same fans bitching about too many penalties bitched that we were soft, letting another player stomp on their teammates. These people don't have constructive criticism, they bitch just to bitch.

His history also shows that he is a consistent winner more than most coaches out there
