We need to instill some discipline in the players. Players need haircuts and to remove their facial hair. They aren't special and they should look uniform throughout the team. Once they get in that mindset the stupid penalties will stop. There was a winning formula with Joe Torre and the Yankees.

I'm going to guess you're 60+ so with all due respect sir, I say that you couldn't be more wrong. This is 2015.

There were some silly penalties, but, Ritter was on his worst game as well. There were several truly horrible calls.

You know what else is UNDISCIPLINED? All the ole farts who roll out early in our home games. Maybe they should shave and sport the ole high n tight until they can sit their asses in one seat for 4 quarters of football.

Let em be grandpa. They won the game against a decent team and a slew of officials calling every little thing.

If they win, I don't care if the entire team has three foot dreads (even the white guys).

Penalties have been an ongoing problem throughout the entire Miles era. Instead of patting them on the arse I think he should try to gently rub dat arse.

My problem is if they are going to call penalties call it evenly 14 to 4 ratio yesterday when you could clearly see Cuse players pulling on jerseys and no holding calls...

But hey that is every Alabama game so I should be used to it...

as for the undisciplined part I agree 100%. This however should not be a shock to LSU fans who have paid attentiion during Miles tenure. His 11 years have been fraught with this exact issue and it has cost LSU some games.

As for de-hairing the entire team I don't think that will fix it. This issue will stay with LSU until Miles is gone from the program. Nothing suggest we will see this stop no matter what.

What I would like shaved and removed is Ritters officiating crew from the SEC period. Has one crew been so terribly despised by every SEC team (Bama excluded)?

I was thinking the same thing. That Fournette guy could be a pretty good player if he would only shave that beard.

Guess my 64 years are showing.

Yes! Players need to emulate rantards, who are so disciplined as a rule.

Thank goodness you aren't the coach! Recruiting would be killed instantly.

Joe McCarthy, after managing the Yankees to several world series wins, became the manager of the Boston Red Sox. He insisted his players wear coats and ties when out of uniform on the road.

Ted Williams hated ties and refused to wear one.

McCarthy, in his first team meeting, showed up without a tie.

"If I can't get along with a .400 hitter, I'm not much of a manager," he said.

Curley Hallman ordered players to remove ear rings and other jewelry. Didn't do much good.

All that said, we DO need to clean up these penalties, but a superficial response like removing facial hair is useless.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever read. Yes, they need to be more disciplined, but the facial hair and hair styles have zero to do with it.

All I know is that a fifth string QB had about all day to throw for most of that game (sure we made some plays and sure the O-line had some good blocks). But, our front seven just isn't that bad.

Anywho, onto the next game...

I'm a traditionalist, and I like the Fournette beard.

In a no homo way of course.

And another thing. We need to make them get rid of those awful tattoos too. We would be a much improved team if all the players would have all that ugly ink taken off their bodies when they enroll. All we need is a high powered pressure washer. Surely we could borrow one from maintenance.
