I wish that would be our normal color. The old gold looks classy as hell and would raise the prestige of LSU instantaneously.
I like our current colors if we weren't an academic institution. Bright yellow (LSU) and bright orange (Tennessee) are redneck and trashy. Gold (Washington) and burnt orange (Texas) are much nicer and more upscale.
