how are you underrated when you perform like a treadmill team in the postseason every year?
Six seems just right to me

Here is why they can be a top 3 team next season:
They vastly improved their biggest weakness and their weakest position. Yeah, Clippers added some depth, the Spurs added Aldridge, and the Thunder may be healthy this year... but in my opinion, Houston made the biggest improvement because they had the biggest improvement to make.
They had a huge, glaring weakness last year. James Harden was the only one who could facilitate. Nobody else could. With Lawson, they now have a second play-maker and it's going to make a world of difference. PG was also their weakest position last year. They had two 38 year olds playing PG in the playoffs this past season. Now their PGs are Lawson and Beverley. Big upgrade.
Those two glaring weaknesses are now strengths.
The Rockets got the second seed and made the WCF with some major weaknesses and several injuries. With those two weaknesses being more than taken care of, and assuming better health this year, Houston could very well have made the biggest improvement to their team as a whole, even if Aldridge was the biggest fish this offseason.
