re: Could you survive a human stampede?

I have been in a couple of crowd surge situations over the years at games and concerts and it can be pretty scary stuff. I can't imagine being in that situation with that many people. Once folks panic, all bets are off. I am guessingg the only way to survive would be to climb up on top because you aren't pressing through.
