I don't think it will pass inspection. I believe it is a state law now that you have to have a sewer treatment plant. I would check with your bank, they should know about it. Septic tanks work great if done right.

There is an addendum in the offer that states if the septic tank does not pass inspection, the seller agrees to pay for repairs or replacement NOT TO EXCEED $2,500. If it exceeds $2,500 then I have the right to terminate the agreement. I'm trying to determine if the $2,500 is reasonable but it's starting to sound like that should be increased some.
