Rubber band the wing to a dummy. I have been doing this to my 7 month old lab. Actually took him teal hunting twice and he picked up 16 out of 20 teal. A few fell too far for me to send him.
He did not damage any ducks. Does your dog appear to bite down on the dummy?

Electrical tape will hold em on dummf from my experience. Wouldnt use just wing on its own, it feels like just a toy to em. Careful cuz my 9 mos old will want to go after the dummys with wings and leave the ones without when i send him to a pile. U can also buy liquid scent to help with scent training. He did pick up 30 birds opening weekend.

not really - pretty soft mouth; at least with a dummy. No retrieve on actual downed birds yet though.
