Don't waste your money. Get the Archer C7. Tested faster than the RT-AC68U, and it costs less than $100.
There is a reason Google chose TP Link to make their new router: There shite is badass and idiot proof. And if you want custom firmware, it is dd-wrt supported.

There really isn't any reason to get AC technology right now. Save your money and get the Asus N66 and it will do everything you need at a fraction of the price.
