I say give him the playing time he has earned.

I'd give neither "Heisman" nor "Freshness" any more consideration.

If Fournette were simply the #1 RB, we would get X number of touches.

Give him those. He has earned it. That he is GREAT should not keep him from playing time he has earned.

And, I'd not give him MORE just to get stats.

Good post.

Bottom line is, LF could have 500 yards the next two weeks and it won't matter when the voters vote.

If #7 is dominating against Bama, Ark, OM, AM, that is what will dictate his votes. September Heisman "frontrunners" are historically comical.

Run our game plan until the game is in hand, then get DW and Guice their touches. It's not just about "freshness" for LF, although that is surely a nice benefit of having other guys that need/deserve in their own right, touches.

We'll need those guys to play a role in November too. Get them work once LF has had his.

If LSU is 7-0, and LSU fights it's way to the top of the SECW and into the CFB in November, LF will surely be a big part of that, and he will be in New York. Period.

For all the talk, if the unthinkable happened, it wouldn't matter if it was the first carry of the game, Miles would be blasted by his haters. That is sure of a bet as the sun finding its home in the western sky.
