Reading this thread makes my head explode. Disney seems like one of the most overly complicated vacations a person can take. All this talk about resorts and which buses or trains to take and something about renting points???? WTF? What happened to showing up and buying a ticket to get in the park and waiting in line for a ride. Now you have to do everything months in advance and strategically pick which rides to use your pass on. I never want to do it, not unless I am going with a professional Disney fan and those people are super annoying so I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Not true. I don't book fast passes until the day I'm going to the park. I don't like to plan out my trip so early. Sure, Disney gives you the ability to do so....but you don't have to.
