You do not need the diagnostic software to do the schedule maintenance. I have done the scheduled maintenance without it for 60k without a problem. DSG fluid change and all.

Did you get fluid levels checked for the DSG? I did the top fill method, so I probably didn't have to, but seeing as it was my first time, I wanted to make sure.

Any special tools needed for other maintenance? I'll be honest, this is my first diesel, so I'm green to their maintenance.
