They need to replace it with a statue of your supreme leader.

Along with the tourist dollars.

These statues should be considered a historical structure and protected cultural resource. I've seen developments get stopped for much less significant cultural resources. I haven't really followed this story, but what are the plans for where they will be moved?

Yeah, putting up Frederick Douglas statues and naming every street MLK Blvd will finally create harmony within and outside the black community
